Yahoo company of the year – free iPhone 5 or smartphones to employees + paying the mobile bills

Yahoo is becoming the company of the year by giving free smartphones of choice to employees and paying the mobile bills!

Yahoo’s new CEO, Marissa Mayer – the CEO of the year – informed all of  Yahoo’s employees in the US through email that santa is coming early, promising them a new Apple iphone5, or any of the latest Samsung, Nokia, or HTC smartphones.

Earlier Mayer, decided that food will be free for full time employees, but rumors say that the work expected from employees is much more important than what they were used to! A source close to Mayer said that everyone who reported to Mayer’s predecessors will be gone before the end of the year.
The plan it seams, is to make employees happy and higher the expectations at the same time!
the memo sent by Mayer:

We have a very exciting update to share with you today – we are announcing  Yahoo! Smart Phones, Smart Fun!  As of today, Yahoo is moving off of blackberries as our corporate phones and on to smartphones in 22 countries.  A few weeks ago, we said that we would look into smartphone penetration rates globally and take those rates into account when deciding on corporate phones. Ideally, we’d like our employees to have devices similar to our users, so we can think and work as the majority of our users do.

Moving forward, we’ll offer you a choice of devices as well as provide monthly plans for the data and phone.

The smartphone choices that we are including in the program are:

* Apple iPhone 5
* Android:
– Samsung Galaxy S3
– HTC One X
* Windows Phone 8:
– Nokia Lumia 920

We’re getting started right away and taking orders starting now
