French Tech companies reach out to the U.S.

Ubifrance a French agency for export promotion  and helping French companies in their international development.

Ubifrance is organizing a yearly 1 week tour  called “The French Tech Tour” , to showcase the best of French innovation in Silicon Valley. The sixth edition of the French Tech Tour took place from June 2 to 8, 2012.

The agency 16 official partners – Adobe, AT&T, BT, Cisco, eBay, Fujitsu, Google, IBM, LG, Microsoft, Panasonic, Qualcomm, SAP, Sony, Sprint, and Vodafone — select the participating companies in this tour on the basis of a formal application, including an executive summary and meeting requests. The candidates having secured the most B2B meetings are invited to join the tour in Silicon Valley for a overloaded week of business development.

In addition to B2B meetings ,the selected companies benefit from extensive coaching on doing business in Silicon Valley and unparalleled exposure to press, investors, and potential clients through both outside networking events and ubifrance annual soirée.
