Apple sells 2 million iPhone 5 in 24h setting a new record for the hottest smartphone on the market

It seams that Apple smartphones, are getting more and more hardcore fans without losing the old ones, with each launch of a new iphone model, the newest iphone model  is breaking the previous records! This is mainly thanks to the quality brand the iphone have succeeded in creating!

Old iphone owners are going for the newer iphones, while many are joining the wave , as long as the answer to what is the best smartphone on the market, will remain “iPhone”, Apple won’t have to fear for it’s smartphone business.

Apple® announced that pre-orders of the iPhone 5 ( the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made, featuring a 4-inch Retina™ display) topped two million in just 24 hours, shattering the previous record of one million held by iPhone 4S.

Demand for iPhone 5 with the new A6 chip and ultra fast wireless technology, exceeded the initial supply ,eventhough most of pre-orders will be delivered  on September 21, many are scheduled to be delivered in October.

in a statement, Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said:
“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” “iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we’ve ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do.”
